Dr. Reginald C. Payne was elected president of the Western Baptist State Convention last week during an election held at Praises of Zion Baptist Church, beginning a new chapter of leadership centered on prayer, organizational renewal and preparing the convention for the next generation of pastors, churches and ministry leaders.
