Baltimore Gets Its Own Hollywood Premiere Moment with “The Prada Premiere”

3h

BALTIMORE — A touch of Hollywood glamour is making its way to Baltimore this spring, as two local creatives reimagine what a movie premiere can look and feel like in the city.

On Friday, May 1, 2026, Baltimore-based entrepreneurs Cosmos Konchou and Aniyah J. Styles will host “The Prada Premiere,” a high-energy screening of The Devil Wears Prada 2 at the historic The Charles Theatre — complete with a full red carpet experience typically reserved for major film capitals.

But this isn’t just about watching a movie. It’s about creating a moment.

Guests arriving at The Charles Theatre in the Station North Arts District will be greeted by flashing cameras, a red carpet walk, and a curated pre-show experience designed to immerse attendees in the feel of a Hollywood premiere. Professional photographers will be stationed throughout the venue, capturing fashion-forward looks, while live video interviews offer guests a chance to step into the spotlight.

For VIP attendees, the experience begins even earlier, with exclusive access to a dedicated photoshoot and early entry before general admission doors open.

At its core, the event is about more than fashion, film, or even spectacle. It’s about identity, expression, and reclaiming narrative.

“This event is a message from Baltimore to the world,” Styles said. “We are here. We have always been here. And we have something to contribute. We wanted to build a space where people feel empowered to be themselves, celebrate each other, and walk away knowing that Baltimore is a creative force.”

That intention is reflected in every detail of the event — from its open-to-the-public format to its encouragement for guests to arrive dressed in their boldest, most fashion-forward attire. Whether you’re a stylist, creative, entrepreneur, or simply someone looking for a glamorous night out, the red carpet is yours.

Konchou and Styles were intentional about selecting The Charles Theatre as the venue. Located in one of Baltimore’s most vibrant arts corridors, the theater serves as both a cultural landmark and a symbol of the city’s deep creative roots.

The choice underscores a larger message: Baltimore has always been a hub for fashion, art, and culture — even if the rest of the world is just starting to catch on.

Produced by Styles’ brand, Superstar Events, “The Prada Premiere” marks the venture’s most ambitious production to date. Known for creating immersive, expressive spaces, Styles continues to push the boundaries of what locally produced events can look like.

Together, she and Konchou bring a blend of strategy, creativity, and cultural vision that is helping redefine Baltimore’s event landscape.
