City National Bank renewed a three-year investment of more than $1.3 million to expand financial education in LAUSD. At a Sept. 23 event at Santee Education Complex, students practiced financial and career skills, and Kimberly Lopez received a $2,000 scholarship. The program comes as California prepares to require a personal finance course for the class of 2031.
